In a significant development for the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), Chairperson Shazia Murri has announced the commencement of BISP 8171 Online Registration for the year 2023. This initiative aims to ensure that all individuals who were on the waiting list and have not completed their registration process are now included in the program.

The latest update brings welcome news for those who have been eagerly waiting to register for the Benazir Income Support Program. The program has expanded its reach from 70 lakhs to an impressive 90 lakhs beneficiaries. This expansion will facilitate the registration of an additional 2 million people through the BISP 8171 program.

ایسے تمام افراد جو کہ بے نظیر انکم سپورٹ پروگرام کے تحت اہل ہیں۔ اور ان کے رجسٹریشن کا عمل ابھی تک مکمل نہیں کیا گیا۔ وہ اپنے رجسٹریشن اپنے قریب ترین بے نظیر انکم سپورٹ پروگرام کے دفتر سے جا کر کراسکتے ہیں۔ ایسے افراد جن کے رجسٹریشن کا عمل مکمل کر لیا گیا ہے۔ وہ اپنی قسط اپنے قریب ترین کیش سینٹر سے وصول کر سکیں گے.

While the BISP Online Registration has been initiated, it is important to note that online registration through the portal has not started yet. To register for the Benazir Income Support Program, individuals must complete their registration at their nearest Benazir Income Support Program Office.

To facilitate the registration process, more than 600 Benazir Program offices are now operational across the country, with offices in every tehsil. These offices are available round the clock for registration. If you are eager to register for the program, it is advisable to visit your nearest Benazir Income Support Program office at your earliest convenience.

The government has made the registration process remarkably user-friendly. Individuals can easily check their registration status and eligibility through the BISP 8171 portal. Registration, however, can only be completed at the Benazir Income Support Program office.

BISP 8171 Installment Update

The Benazir Income Support Program has increased the assistance tranche, raising the installment from seven thousand to nine thousand. The 4th Installment of BISP 8171 has been released, bringing relief to the eligible beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries can visit their nearest Benazir Income Support Program cash center to collect their money. The process of money recovery has been simplified, allowing those affiliated with the program to check their eligibility by sending their ID card number to 8171. Upon verification, they will receive a message informing them of their status.

Eligibility Criteria

The Government of Pakistan has released specific criteria for registration in the Benazir Income Support Program. This initiative is designed to expedite the registration process for those who have been waiting for their turn. To be eligible for the program, individuals must meet the following criteria:

• Monthly family income less than 50 thousand.
• Poverty score of 36.
• No family member is a government employee.
• No international travel history.
• No passport in the individual’s name.
• Ownership of less than two acres of agricultural land.
• Demonstrable financial need.

How to Check Eligibility Through the 8171 Portal

A new portal has been launched by the Benazir Income Support Programme to inform individuals whose registration process is completed about their eligibility. You can also check your eligibility through your National Identity Card. If you are eligible, you will receive the installment soon. Here’s how to check your eligibility through the portal:

1. Enter your ID card number 8171 in the designated box.
2. Enter the code from the image.
3. Click the button.
4. After a few seconds, you will be informed about your eligibility.
